Chattanooga tied a quarter of an hour later.  Marcus Naglestad lined up a free kick from the top of the box.  His shot hit the crossbar, ricocheting it straight up in the air.  As gravity brought it back, Juan Hernandez was the first player to it and he headed the ball into the wide open goal in the 22nd minutes. Seven minutes later, CFC took the lead when Cameron Woodfin delivered the ball down the right flank from the center circle to Tate Robertson.  Robertson chased it down then left LA defender Ali Kromah wondering how he got around him.  The ball racing toward the end line, Robertson chipped it toward the front of the goal to Cameron Woodfin who slotted it past Gomez.

Chattanooga went into the locker room at halftime with a 3-1 lead, as Markus Naglestad scored in the 40th minute.  Again, a CFC player ran down the right flank and delivered it into the box.  It was cleared but only as far as James Kasak who fired it at the net.  An LA defender blocked it, but it struck the back of another LA defender, pinballing to Markus Naglestad who buried his shot in the net.

IMGP6304 (2)

CFC added a fourth goal when Tate Robertson, again down the right flank, delivered a cross.  It fell to Ian McGrath who tapped it over to Sean Hoffstatter.  Hoffstatter muscled off a defender then fired it into the goal in the 64th minute.
