Detroit City FC, having won the Fall Tournament, adds the Legends Cup to the trophy shelf.  On May 1st, they would open the Spring Season at Keyworth Stadium, hosting the Maryland Bobcats.

Because Detroit City FC had secured its place as host of the 2020-21 NISA Championship match, their opponent would be the winner of a semi-final match between the Legends Cup Champion and the Spring Season Champion.  City’s Legend Cup triumph would mean that runner-up, Chattanooga FC would play the Spring Season Champion in the semi-final match.  Chattanooga’s Spring Season would begin in California on May 2nd, as they would take on the Cal United Strikers.
